The film is a composition of four black and white Super 8 originals shot at different moments and places and blown-up to 16mm. Night at a Canal, Snowfall, White Flowers for P. and Wild Geese are in-camera edited attentive observations. They witness the artist’s way of seeing and using the camera as her instrument communing with the subject matter. In the sequence the brief silent films unfold their rhythms and poetic strength. 

Three Paths uses the motion of three points as the basis for generating sound and video. Three virtual microphones feed back into software, with this feedback creating an emergent relationship between the motion of each mic and the resulting sound. The microphone paths are also used to move pixels in a video feedback system, building a loose but intuitive audiovisual relationship between the audio and the visuals.

The film revolves around a light bulb like the Earth around the Sun. Light makes the film visible. In the orbit of the film tragedy and our reality, the image resists the cruelty of the experiment.

Via is the result of a year long investigation into how we connect with the material world through digital images. Consulting with a Remote Sensing Scientist, María Ferreira studied macro-geographic visual structures and surveyed the Earth digitally while collecting thousands of images. This film features imagery collected through Google Street view, Google Earth and the United States Geological Survey Database.

Taking Away shows quiet nightly streets in Tokyo. The nighttime peace is interrupted abruptly by an unexpected intervention. The unauthorized manifestation of a strange object shifts the appearance of the uncanny nightly streets and disturbs the peaceful order of the well-kept neighbourhood.

Mediums is a medium-length movie filmed exclusively in medium shots about a group of potential jurors gathered on break who anticipate their involvement in the American legal system while channeling tips and advice to pass the day.
